Alumina Ceramic Wear Plates are designed for equipment areas exposed to continuous abrasion from powder, particles, ore, cement, coal, sand or other bulk materials. Made from high-hardness alumina ceramic, these wear plates help protect equipment surfaces and reduce the frequent replacement of metal wear parts.
They are commonly used in chutes, hoppers, conveyors, pipelines, elbows, transfer points and other high-wear positions. CERAMPRO can produce alumina ceramic wear plates according to drawings, samples or actual working conditions, including custom size, thickness, hole position, chamfer, slot and special shapes.
Compared with small ceramic wear tiles, alumina ceramic wear plates are more suitable for larger equipment surfaces, custom hole positions, countersunk designs and drawing-based lining applications.
This product uses aluminum oxide ceramic, also known as alumina ceramic. For different working conditions, customers can choose 92%, 95% or high-purity alumina. For most equipment wear protection projects, alumina is a practical material choice because it balances wear resistance, cost and machining flexibility.
For more material options, you can also view our Alumina Ceramics page.
Alumina ceramic wear plates are used to protect equipment surfaces where material flow causes sliding wear, impact wear or particle erosion. They are suitable for both new equipment production and maintenance replacement projects.

CERAMPRO does not only provide standard ceramic plates. We support custom wear plate projects based on the customer’s installation method, material flow direction and working environment. This helps customers choose a more suitable alumina grade, plate thickness and fixing structure before production.

They are used to protect equipment surfaces from abrasion, material impact and particle erosion. Common applications include chutes, hoppers, conveyors, pipelines and transfer points.
Common options include 92% alumina, 95% alumina and high-purity alumina. The best choice depends on the wear level, temperature, impact condition and budget.
Yes. We can customize the size, thickness, shape and structure according to drawings, samples or equipment installation requirements.
Yes. Drilling, slotting, chamfering, countersunk holes and other machining features can be arranged based on the installation method.
In many abrasive environments, alumina ceramic offers better wear resistance than common metal materials. However, if the application has strong impact, the material and installation structure should be evaluated carefully.
92% alumina is suitable for general wear protection. 95% alumina is often selected for stronger abrasion conditions. High-purity alumina is suitable for higher temperature or chemical stability requirements.
Yes. Alumina ceramic wear plates are widely used in mining, cement, steel, power generation and bulk material handling equipment.
They can be installed by adhesive bonding, mechanical fixing, countersunk holes or a customized assembly structure. The installation method depends on the equipment design and working condition.
Please provide drawings, dimensions, thickness, material grade, quantity, installation method and working condition details such as material type, temperature and wear level.
